Profiles of Historic Sites

Our growing Profiles of Historic Sites provides information about Mission's unique heritage places and people. The buildings, their architectural style, the history of people who built them and lived there, as well as their heritage significance are profiled. You can view the entire list of properties, or browse by neighbourhood and by date of construction.

Periodically, we feature a historic site of particular significance to current heritage events and issues. To view the most recent Featured Historic Site, click here.

We are in the process of migrating our profiles to a new searchable database known as the Gateway Project.
The Gateway Project was funded in part by a 120th Anniversary Grant awarded by the District of Mission. We are grateful to the District of Mission for providing the financial assistance to establish a gateway to Mission's heritage resources preserved by the Historical Society's branches.

The following profiles are also found on the database:
Cascade Falls Regional Park
The Cannery Building
Ferncliff Gardens
Mission Post Office
St. Anthony's Church
